What is Twisted Desires?

We are a bi-monthly romance book box that specializes in NSFW covers with a reversible discreet option. Be bold and display our naughty covers or reverse it and display the SFW side. Don't worry the naughty side is still there and will be our little secret.

What is the difference in your bi-monthly subscription box and DeLust box?

Our bi-monthly subscription box is a subscription-based box that includes:

  • Signed Hardback
  • Exclusive Reversible Dust Jacket
  • Dust Jacket Features A SFW and NSFW side
  • Foiled Hardback Case
  • Custom Digitally Sprayed Edges
  • Beautifully Designed End Pages and Interior Formatting
  • Colored End Pages
  • Exclusive NSFW Art
  • Exclusive Stickers/Bookmarks/etc

Our DeLust is a separate box that is not subscription based. It includes all of the items our subscription box has plus the items below:

  • NSFW Page Overlay
  • Bookish Merch

Our subscribers get early access to our DeLust Box. 

I just subscribed what box am I getting?

Our boxes are bi-monthly with the cutoff date being the 5th of every odd month. If you order after the 5th of an odd month your payment is applied toward our next box.

After Jan 5th - March box
After Mar 5th - May box
After May 5th - July box
ETC

Example - Purchased box on March 10th. You would receive our May box.

Please note that because we are bi-monthly orders placed directly after a cut-off date will have an extended wait since the order will be applied to the next bi-monthly box.

Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! Our international shipping is calculated by the carriers and not within our control.

Please note there are several countries that do not allow NSFW items to be imported. We are unable to special package items to accommodate this. We also do not recommend buying from our shop as we will not replace any items that are confiscated by customs in those countries.

How long is your processing time?

Our average shipping time is typically 8-12 weeks after your pre-order, but please keep in mind that this may vary depending on several factors and can extend.

Why is shipping time so long?

Most of our pre-orders are not placed until the close of sale. It takes roughly 12 weeks for printing and shipping. We are working to submit our subscription boxes earlier to have a shorter turnaround time.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime. If your subscription renews, we are unable to cancel the order or provide a refund.

Subscriptions renew on the fifth of every other month. Jan/Mar/May/Jul/Sept/Nov

Am I able to skip my upcoming box?

Yes. We allow 1 skip per annual year. This means you may skip 1 of the 6 subscription boxes. You may put in the request through your customer portal. You must put in the request before payment has been take. 

Do you accept returns?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If you have any issues with your order, please email us at support@twisteddesiresbookbox.com

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for boxes cancelled.

My book box is damaged or missing items?

If you have missing items or damage to your items, please contact us so that we can assist you. All claims for missing or damaged items must be submitted within 14 days of the delivery date.

Damages are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Damage includes missing pages, tears, visible gashes on the cover or spine, residue or marks that can't be removed, extremely dented or crushed corners, ripped or bent pages that impact readability.

What we do not consider damage is wavy page due to humidity, slightly creased/bent top or bottom of spine, ripped or damaged pages that do not affect the reading experience. Marks on the back of the cover. 

Photos of the damage and proof of purchase are required.

If your damaged item meets the qualifications, you must return your book to us (at your cost) before we can send a replacement.

All books are shipped in foam. Any books we find with damage gets set aside. Books can be damaged during shipping even with proper packing. We do not have unlimited amount of extra books for every minor flaw your book may incur during shipping. We appreciate your understanding with our return/replacement policy.
